Tape transferring and other digital services
Ability to convert the following tape formats to digital:
- VHS: $22 up to two hrs; $8 each additional hr
- VHS-C: $18
- MiniDV: $20
- 8 mm Video: $20 per hr
*Files will be converted and given as MP4
- Audio Cassette Tape: $22 entire tape (both sides) (WAV or MP3)
Other digital services include:
- Rip DVD to MP4: $7
- Rip CD to MP3: $2 per disc
-Burn custom CD: $5 (if provided files)
-Scan 35mm slides: $1.75 each (JPEG)
-Scan photo/paper prints: $1.25 per item (JPEG, TIFF, or PDF) 300+ dpi)

Tapes under 10 mins will be $13. Files can be emailed to you via pCloud Transfer for download as mp4s. If you'd like them on a USB flash drive or external hard drive it will either have to be provided with the tapes or a coverage charge later for the inclusion of one that will fit your tape files. All tapes will be rewound for you when returned.
*Andrew believes it's easier and more convenient to transfer and store video files digital instead of on DVD, both for preservation and editing purposes. As a result, for the time being, he won't put your videos onto DVD. They also won't be compressed to fit the 4.7GB single layer/sided capacity on the disc if the tape is long. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding files.
Locating rare and "lost" recordings
Perhaps you're looking for a sports event, concert, or live TV broadcast you watched once and can't find on the internet. Maybe you just want a simple way to watch a favorite film or television show as a digital file; Andrew might be able to help you out. The price will vary depending on the rarity of the recording and to what degree of process needed to go through to obtain it. Contact him and the discussion of what you're looking for can begin.
